Industrial Liquid Filtration
Oxford XCLPS Self-Cleaning Filter
A 316 stainless steel self-cleaning scraping screen filter for industrial liquid filtration applications up to 14 bar.
The Oxford XCLPS self-cleaning filter is designed to reduce manual screen cleaning, minimise operator contact with process fluids and improve filtration continuity in suitable industrial liquid applications.
Self-Cleaning Filtration for Industrial Liquids
The Oxford XCLPS self-cleaning filter is a blade-type scraping screen filter designed for liquid filtration applications where regular manual cleaning of strainers, baskets or filter elements can create downtime, labour cost and operator exposure to process fluids.
During operation, process liquid passes through a stainless steel wedge wire filter element. Retained solids are removed from the screen surface by the internal cleaning blade, allowing the filter to be cleaned without opening the housing during normal cleaning operation.
The XCLPS can be supplied for manual or automatic cleaning operation, making it suitable for process applications where improved output, consistent filtration quality and reduced maintenance intervention are important.
Suitable where you need to:
- Reduce manual filter cleaning
- Improve process continuity
- Reduce operator contact with process liquid
- Filter water through to higher viscosity fluids
- Automate or simplify the cleaning process
Features & Benefits
Designed to provide practical, enclosed and efficient liquid filtration for industrial applications.
Self-Cleaning Scraping System
Internal blade cleaning removes retained solids from the screen surface without the need to manually remove the filter element during normal cleaning.
Manual or Automatic Operation
The XCLPS can be supplied with manual or automatic cleaning operation depending on the process requirements and level of operator involvement required.
Enclosed Filtration
Helps reduce operator exposure to process liquids compared with filtration systems that require frequent opening for cleaning or element removal.
316 Stainless Steel Construction
Manufactured from 316 stainless steel for suitable industrial liquid filtration applications requiring corrosion-resistant construction.
Wedge Wire Filter Element
Stainless steel wedge wire media provides a robust filtration surface, with element sizes available from 50 micron.
Application Support
Monarch Asia Pacific can assist with product selection, application review, installation considerations and practical engineering support.
How the XCLPS Self-Cleaning Filter Works
Process liquid enters the filter housing and passes through the stainless steel wedge wire element. Suspended solids are retained on the screen surface while filtered liquid continues through the outlet.
When cleaning is required, the internal scraping blade removes collected solids from the screen surface. Depending on the configuration, the cleaning process can be carried out manually or automatically.
This enclosed cleaning method can help reduce downtime, reduce manual handling and support more consistent filtration performance in suitable liquid process applications.
- Blade-type self-cleaning action
- Stainless steel wedge wire screen
- Manual or automatic cleaning options
- Reduced need to open the filter for routine cleaning
