At Monarch General Engineering, our Micron Spot Welding service (micro resistance welding) is designed for jobs where conventional welding is too heavy-handed—especially when you need controlled heat input, minimal distortion, and consistent, repeatable joins on thin or delicate components.
Using single-sided resistance spot / poke (micro) welding equipment, we can join parts from one side, making it ideal when access is limited or when the component shape makes traditional spot-welding arms impractical. The system is well suited to mesh and pellet-style welding applications and can also be configured for seam welding and related micro-welding attachments depending on the job.
What this process is ideal for:
Because every material and part geometry behave differently, we focus on getting the weld schedule right—so you get the strength you need without burning, warping, or over-marking the surface. If you have a sample part, drawing, or a description of the mesh/material thickness, we can recommend the most reliable joining method and approach.
